And all the GOP candidates are backing out of the Youtube debates, too. Looks like Glenn Reynolds’ Army of Davids sure doesn’t like Republicans, and vice versa…

  2. Duros62 says:

god forbid actual peeeeeple ask them questions. Ewww.

  3. SaveFarris says:

It’s like one of those kiddnapping notes, only made out of video!

I’m impressed that Robert Greenwalt was able to sift through nearly a decade of clips in order to come up with 2 minutes that make FNC looks “obsessed” with bloggers. That shows some real dedication…

Well that settles it, Farris isn’t the world’s thickest troll, he’s the world’s smartest dog. Apparently 2 years to us is 10 to him. And except for writing “Greenwalt” instead of “Greenwald,” he’s a pretty amazing typist, too.

    Awww, ain’t he a doll? Who’s a good boy? Whooo’s a goood boy?

  5. SaveFarris says:

i nevIr claymed to B a gud spellir. (I’m doing good if I don’t completely botch an HTML command once a week.)

I didn’t actually look at the time stamps on all the videos. So you say it was all taken from a 2 year span? Cool, we can say with certainty that at least 0.000001902% of Fox’s time was spent denigrating bloggers. Congratulations!!!

  6. mdhåtter says:

    So that’s 19%, counting re-runs?

  7. “Cool, we can say with certainty that at least 0.000001902% of Fox’s time was spent denigrating bloggers. Congratulations!!!”

Isn’t that’s more time than they spend on the Iraq war?

  8. bill l. says:

Uhh, it’s only 2 years because one of the clips appears to be dated 2006. That could mean as little as 7 months ago or at most 19 months ago. When I said 2 years I meant “somethings from 2006 and somethings from 2007,” or at least so it appears. That’s still far short of “nearly a decade.” Except for the minor detail of getting the name of the man you were insulting wrong, your typing was fine.

    Yes, fear the talking snowman.

But remember, the GOP didn’t set the precedent for bailing out of debates.

  10. White Whale says:

    Mike,
So Dem’s are pansies because they back out of a debate sponsored by a network who slimes and denigrates the Democratic Party on a daily basis on the principle they will not enable such behavior. Republicans not answering the American Publics questions via Youtube is more admirable? Or is it that the American public is beneath the candidates? Or is it that they are biased? Can you give me one good reason why they should not answer the public? Your useless diversion from the topic is laughable.

  11. Zython says:

If this wan’t enough to make people think Fox News is worthless, then here’s something else that should do it.

I was watching The Simpsons the other day, and during one of the comercial breaks was an ad for Fox News. What was the main story they were advertising? Was it:

    A. The Iraq War
    B. The presidential race/a presidential campaign
    C. The ongoing attorney firing scandal
    D. None of the above

The answer: D. Their advert was about, get this, the five second rule. They were doing a story on the fucking five second rule. What the hell? It may have been local, but I live in one of the 6 largest cities in the country. Is news EVER that slow?

  12. “But remember, the GOP didn’t set the precedent for bailing out of debates.”

Fox News is the most biased news organization in the country. Not walking into an attack piece is a smart thing to do.

YouTube takes questions directly from the voters of the United States, which would make it the most democratic debate.

You really want to compare the two?

  13. Duros62 says:

Mike, try this on for size.

After seeing all these screen caps, why oh why would the Democrats not ant to grace Fox with their presence I wonder?
