DC Comix Event

I won’t be able to go, but August and other comic types are having what looks to be an interesting event this Saturday in the DC area, so go check it out.

    However, I am going to Comic Con in San Diego. I might have to choose my battles….

    Being a comics fan, when I read “DC”, I think the company (publisher?), not the city. Especially when attached to anything resembling comics, and read on a blog written by a die-hard DC comics fan.

    Not that the actual event, in the District of Columbia, doesn’t sound interesting or anything…..

    Cartoons/Anime are a passion of mine and that includes political ones as well.

    Since I learned all of my politics at a very young age through Bloom County, I am really fighting the urge to go….

    However, I am going to Comic Con and they do have several panels dedicated to Political Cartoonists.

    I’m also saving like mad so I can spend vast amounts of money on shit I don’t need at both cons I’m attending (otakon in Baltimore being thr first in one week)
