I am beyond sick of the placating. Hillary gives an obvious comment about aids and the people go wild. Had O done that he would have been painted to look like Sharpton.

And if she had done it, her spinners would just say she was “speaking truth to power” or some such twaddle.

No, they’d just say that there is more intelligence and policy sense in one of Hillary’s farts than there is in the collective brains of the entire Republican party.

And that would be speaking the truth. Maybe not speaking truth to power, but certainly speaking truth to pinheads.

It does seem like all Hillary has to do to be declared the winner of any debate is just be consistent and sound like she knows what she’s talking about. Another candidate could give better responses, but she’d still get declared the winner by the media, because she didn’t fart into the mike.

Thats because the Kool-Aiders control the purse strings and the moderates know they all have to sound like Ward Churchill to pass muster. Then like Kerry in 04, once with the nomination, they will tack back towards the left centre and the yahoos will be left holding the bag again (along with their LaMont posters): the people get to keep more of their own money (no rollback of the Bush tax cut) and we don’t surrender in Iraq (at best, Hilary has committed to an 8-year timetable).
