The movement of assorted crackpots, idiots and the like who are convinced that “9/11 was an inside job” has been branded by the title of “9/11 Truthers”. So why don’t we call their similarly deluded friends, largely on the right, who believe all the crackpot insanity about Iraq fed to them by conservative media and “suppressed” by the “liberal” media a similar thing - “Iraq Truthers”?

Logically, shouldn’t the people who dispute the official story of the war be called the Iraq Truthers?
The movement of assorted crackpots, idiots and the like who are convinced that “9/11 was an inside job”
Uh-huh. So….I’m an idiot again? What compulsion drives you to keep repeating these insults? It’d be nice if you would at least show me where I’ve been wrong about this instead of telling me you can’t discuss it with me. Just explain where the missing Arab hijackers are and I’ll drop the issue.
Atomically speaking they could be anywhere by now.
Mackin’ on 72 virgins?
(heh)…….swell, but where were they when the supposed hijackings were taking place? Read the following and get back to me:

I mean, you’ve gotta admit, it’s pretty damned *interesting*, isn’t it? Yet Ollie continues to insist that guys like me (who have some minor doubts about the honesty and integrity of Cheney and his buds) are idiots and crackpots for not accepting the idiotic, crackpot story that has been laid out for 9/11.
Look, I don’t trust Governments, just inherently. The more I see of Governments, the more I like dogs. But I just can’t see it in 9/11. Wouldn’t surprise me, but it’s just not credible.
“I mean, you’ve gotta admit, it’s pretty damned *interesting*, isn’t it?”
No. No it is not interesting. As other 9/11 Truthers have pointed out, the FoIA doesn’t mean you get all the I you ask for. Of course, they think because that information wasn’t released, it means there was a conspiracy. Others, like you, think the information was all released and the missing evidence is proof of a conspiracy.
The real answer is simple. The information you are looking for would be classified as sensitive to national security and blocked.
(sigh)……C.S. baby, you’re truly unreal. The information *was* released (as seen in the link I provided), the real conspiracy evidence is that it isn’t being reported on.
How much weirder can it get? A guy gets the info from the Army that no Arabs (let alone Arab hijackers) were on the Pentagon flight (or likely on any of the other flights), he publishes it in his little paper and no other reporter picks up on the story of the century? I sent that link to every media site I could find when it first came out and *no one* has picked it up.
Still, Cheney has us fighting Arabs *because they became our enemy on 9/11*, right? (you know, devoted Muslims who got drunk in a topless bar the night before?) The fact that Arabs happen to sit on most of the world’s oil has nothing to do with it (but Cheney refuses to let anyone see his pre 9/11 Energy Task Force notes because they showed how we were going to attack Iraq and others to control their oil).
You might want to ask yourself why Bush had a war action order against Afghanistan sitting on his desk on 9/11, waiting to be signed. Read the Enron story and you might catch on to why that was.
Yeah, I’m an idiot and a crackpot for not believing a story that makes no sense. Whatever.
“.C.S. baby, you’re truly unreal. The information *was* released (as seen in the link I provided),”
No is wasn’t. Check other sites, they talk about this information not being released to the public.
FoIA act doesn’t get you everything. Anything that is sensitive, like the names used by the hijackers, would be withheld.
There is nothing to see here.
“You might want to ask yourself why Bush had a war action order against Afghanistan sitting on his desk on 9/11, waiting to be signed. ”
Uhhh, cause the guy tried to blow up the U.S.S. Cole was in Afghanistan? Is that a good enough reason?
Seriously, 9/11 wasn’t the first attack against the United States, it wasn’t even the first attack against the WTC. Osama bin Ladden was and still is a threat.
“Yeah, I’m an idiot and a crackpot for not believing a story that makes no sense. Whatever.”
It does make sense, as long as you know a few basic facts.
1.) FoIA won’t get you everything. Just cause a name isn’t on the list you get, doesn’t mean it wasn’t there.
2.) 9/11 wasn’t the beginning of time. There were events that took place before 9/11 that could explain things.
