Max Blumenthal’s [Censored] Take Back America

The film they didn’t want you to see. No joke. Thankfully the bit with Max and I singing a duo was left on the cutting room floor. I kid you not. Seriously.

I liked his CPAC video, but this one really sucked. Not funny, and not insightful. Is it really news that Ralph Nader is an idiot, that nutcases and conspiracy theorists show up at every major event, or that blogs only reach a tiny percentage of the overall population?
“They” were wise in keeping this off the program. What an egotisticical, unfunny, unenlightening waste of bits.
“They” are clearly exercising better editorial judgement than the author of this blog.
Blumenthal really disappoints with this one. He should have kept the whole thing on the cutting room floor.
I dunno. I think when you’re pointing your finger at absurdity, it shouldn’t matter which direction you point it. We should be able to recognize it in ourselves as well as others. The film was kind of substance-lite, however; more like a Daily show bit that just doesn’t take off.
Slightly off-topic, and I don’t mean this in a bad or mean way, but Oliver, you are a very large man. =)
