Oliver is a very British name. Our only head of state who wasn’t a monarch (unless you count his son, and no-one does) was called that. Didn’t realise it was getting popular again though.
My own name is always in the top ten. Common as anything.
It’s really interesting to see that Mohammed is rapidly becoming the most popular boy’s name in Britain. Can anyone here fathom that in the U.S.?
I was surprised to learn that my son’s name, Malcolm, didn’t even make the top 100. It’s a very British (or at least Scottish) name.
