The military has charged a former Naval Academy doctor who hosted midshipmen at his home with secretly videotaping the students having sex, the Navy said Tuesday.

Cmdr. Kevin Ronan is charged with 18 counts relating to conduct unbecoming an officer and obstruction of justice, as well as violating federal wiretapping law and a state law against making secret recordings, according to a news release from the Navy’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery.

    Old story, it initially broke here in Annapolis – naturally, months ago. Don’t tell me I actually have to credit the hometown rag with scooping the mainstream media?!!! LOL

    Also not too surprising, like with all those stories that keep popping up about repressed republicans and religious conservatives acting out their repressed sexual fantasies… not surprising that this happened – and rest assured – it wasn’t the first and only instance…

    C’mon… all those “sponsors” who constantly open their homes to young mids… please.

    Townies have joked about it for decades.

    ah, technology … 50 years ago we didn’t have these worries … there were no video cameras and flash bulbs or the clickity-clack of a movie camera would have been something of a give-away … ;o} … however, I seriously doubt -despite what the “townies” claim [not too reliable a source even then and rumor is just that] – that this is a wide-spread or even anything of a problem to be the least bit concerned about
