Geez… that’s ridiculously sloppy reporting (at best).
Hopefully Obama and company will correct the incorrest presumptions put forth by the writer…
RAHOWA!!!!!!!!!
Jesus, bad wording. Although maybe he just wants to start a hair metal band?
That’s why everybody else speaks in predigested soundbites. I hope something like this doesn’t bring him down. It’s not the first time he’s been taken way out of context.
I, for one, welcome our new African American overlords.
Bow before O-Dub.
Nimrod, I don’t think it was bad wording at all. It was willful misinterpretation on the part of the AP writer. It’s obvious that the AP is trying to set up a situation where Obama will dig himself into a hole in the process of explaining. I think he should just keep directing people to the actual text of the speech, and refrain from trying to “explain”.

I blame Huey Long, Edwin Edwards & Marc Morial.

*sigh*
The poverty was the main reason they couldn’t evacuate on their own. The lack of National Guardsmen & delayed FEMA response were because of Bush’s little “war” and the ineptitude of his cronies respectively.
I’d say “nice try”, but it wasn’t.
