    Hopefully Obama and company will correct the incorrest presumptions put forth by the writer…

    Nimrod, I don’t think it was bad wording at all. It was willful misinterpretation on the part of the AP writer. It’s obvious that the AP is trying to set up a situation where Obama will dig himself into a hole in the process of explaining. I think he should just keep directing people to the actual text of the speech, and refrain from trying to “explain”.

    Uh oh. He just admitted Bush isn’t 100% responsible for Katrina. That’s not how the script goes…

    The poverty was the main reason they couldn’t evacuate on their own. The lack of National Guardsmen & delayed FEMA response were because of Bush’s little “war” and the ineptitude of his cronies respectively.

    I’d say “nice try”, but it wasn’t.
