Hoo-boy. Like a grape rolling underfoot at the height of a Ju-ly heatwave,  this is the soon-to-be Republican frontrunner?

Host Tim Russert added after the interview that Thompson was asked what he would do as president, and Thompson replied, "Lots of things." Russert said that Thompson was asked whether he was prepared to elaborate on any of those things, and Thompson replied, "No."

You remember in 2006 when the right and the media kept telling Nancy Pelosi not to measure the drapes yet for the Speaker’s office? Yeah.

    Positively Reaganesque. If he does win (HA), he might be the first President to fall asleep during his own State of the Union.

    To be fair, Reagan was an excellent communicator. He’d have never, ever had said something as stupid as this.
