Even the cheescake isn't enough for me. Maybe if he could draw it better.

Is it possible to read a comic with the sound off? A la Baywatch? 'Cuz that's the only redeemable quality of Muir's work that I can see.

He likes da boobies.

You know, I have yet to come across an installment of "Day by Day" that makes even the slightest link of sense. Now I'm not asking for the moon here, like for the strip to be actually funny or entertaining or anything. I am only holding out for something just moderately coherent. Time and time again I try to read these panels and determine if maybe there is some deeper narrative I'm missing, or perhaps Muir just gets the frames out of order all the time or something.

Ultimately I have come to the inescapable conclusion that the strip as a whole is a brilliant exercise in a new 21st century Dadaist movement. The total lack of cohesive narrative structure, coupled with "art" that looks as though it could have been scrawled by an epileptic 8-year-old (albeit one with a pronounced mammary fetish), will one day be placed alongside the likes of Marcel Duchamp and Salvador Dali in the annals of highbrow comic-book-dom.
