Mitt Romney, Fabulist
Tweet
When Mitt Romney’s not pretending that he’s hunting "varmints" or flip flopping on abortion (anti-choice this week, pro-choice when he ran for governor), he’s making up stories about the car he went on his first date in.
The media makes a lot of noise about minor inconsequential things Democrats have said about their past, but I bet they continue the tradition of ignoring similar Republican gaffes. I mean, they still want access to all the keen parties, natch.

Romney say’s the Rambler was made by his fathers company, which it was. The hair they are splitting here is that that particular car was made after Romney’s father became Governor of Michigan, thus Romney’s father was unlikely to have been working at AMC when the car was released. There is no contradiction here, just more propaganda.
