Bush’s Press Conferece

- Every time he speaks off the top of his head, I cringe. Has there ever been such an inarticulate leader of such a powerful nation?

- The press just cannot ask a hard question. It’s just constant deference.

    Actually, Thomas Jefferson was so “inarticulate”, he wrote out the State of the Union address by hand rather than deliver it in person, beginning a tradition that lasted until 1913.

    Are you SERIOUSLY comparing Bush to Jefferson?

    Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. George W. Bush couldn’t write a grocery list.

    Quick, what’s the most articulate document Bush has composed without help?

    Oliver and Repack: Jefferson himself felt he was too poor a speak to address the Congress, so he sent the SOTU over in writing.

    Why you imagined I compared Pres. Jefferson to Pres. Bush is beyond me.
