The Next Generation Of America Hating Iraqis
Tweet
Are being formed as we speak.
Iraqi children are getting caught up in a growing humanitarian tragedy as violence continues in the country, the UN Children’s Fund (Unicef) has warned.
Half of the four million Iraqis who have fled their homes since the conflict began are children.
And the needs of children are outstripping the international aid that has been supplied, the agency said.
More funds were needed, Unicef said, launching an appeal for almost $42m (£21m) over the next six months.
"Violence is creating widows and orphans on a daily basis, many of whom are left to struggle for survival," it said.
"Iraq’s children, already casualties of a quarter of a century of conflict and deprivation, are being caught up in a rapidly worsening humanitarian tragedy."

You can always count on the UN for the straight scoop on International affairs.
There’s an indicator of how different Frank’s planet is from ours: that sentence, which looks perfectly ordinary and unremarkable, was sarcastic for some reason.
If you have some alternative data, Frank, I’d be more than happy to check it out. Maybe you’re the type that only trusts Newsmax or WND.
Not that Unicef is the same thing as the UN in the first place.
I’m not sure what Frank’s objecting to here…it should be common sense that with so many dead civilians caught in Iraq’s crossfire, that a humanitarian crisis is underway (if what happens in Iraq happened every day in America, we would consider it the same).
Which organization does Frank need to tell him what common sense should already have figured out?
Fox News maybe.
Don’t argue with Frank. It’s impossible to debate with someone who effectively refuses to entertain any ideas that are even remotely in conflict with his preconceptions. You just wind up validating his opinions. He feels that people wouldn’t attack him if he wasn’t on to something.
Shorter Frank:
Screw the little brown bastards, sometimes ya gotta break a few eggs and all…
If only Unicef would get as worked up about Hamas Mouse, they might have a tad more credibility.
Shorter Farris: Hey, look over there! A man with two heads!
So the misguided and unoriginal actions of extremist idiots means it’s okay to ignore the situation of traumatized civilians in Iraq? What are you trying to say, Farris?
Shorter Frank:
“We’re here with the UN, which I personally have nothing against except that it’s full of foreigners.”
Oops. I meant Frank Burns on M*A*S*H, not OW.com uber-troll Frank.
Acutally, maybe I am referring to our Frank. It’s often impossible to tell the two of them apart, isn’t it?
Only that the UN (via Unicef) are throwing the spotlight on how tragic it is that these children are being killed/neglected due to the war (which they are) in an effort to “end the violence”, yet aren’t decrying an organization that forments hatred and tells kids it’s cool to suicide bomb your enemies!
Maybe, just maybe, if Unicef hadn’t allowed groups like Hamas and al Qaida to teach their kids from birth to kill the infidel like they have for the past 30 years, then the Iraqi kids would have never been caught in the middle like they have been. Don’t preach to me about how awful the consequences are if you do nothing to prevent the root causes.
I’ve noticed Oliver hasn’t blogged about Hamas Mouse, either.
If UNICEF hadn’t “allowed” groups like Hamas and al-Qaida? What kind of incredible power are you ascribing to UNICEF?
There are a number of root causes to terrorism, and you can’t pin them all on UNICEF, Farris.
Maybe, just maybe, if Unicef hadn’t allowed groups like Hamas and al Qaida to teach their kids from birth to kill the infidel like they have for the past 30 years, then the Iraqi kids would have never been caught in the middle like they have been.
UNICEF is a media watchdog group? I did not know that.
Seriously, Farris, if that’s all you got, you might want to sit this one out.
Maybe because I’m interested in stopping actual terrorists and getting our leaders to stop them than be a cog in the latest con outrage of the second.
I guess there’s more power in those little orange boxes than I thought…
I actually find that Hamas Mouse thing hilarious. Disturbing, sad and stupid, but also really funny.
I don’t think the children’s television of a democratically elected whatever-noun comes under Unicef’s jurisdiction.
And it’s not as if you would dare criticise a fucking CHILDREN’S CHARITY without those first two letters.
So, let me get this straight. It was better then when Saddam was actually murdering over a million Iraqis? Well, I guess leftist Saddam-o-philes will claim the dead weren’t hungry.
Oh, good, this again.
“It was worse under Saddam, therefore the current situation is acceptable. Blah blah you just hate Bush.”
Summer reruns have started early this year.
FLURBLE FLURBLE FLURBLE DEAR LEADER
Dugger,
Saddam was a bastard, no one… NO ONE…. denies this. That doesn’t mean that the current situation in Iraq is anything short of a catastrophe.
If you think that a faintly-positive comparison between our country and “leadership” to pre-war Iraq and Saddam Hussein is something to fucking brag about… well shit, man, you have pretty low standards for our country, don’t you?
So, no one can defend the credibility of the UN, eh?
{Swell attacks on Frank, though. Attack the messenger much?)
And, Nimrod Gently, if I remember correctly, the “UN” in UNICEF stands for United Nations, you anencephalic guttersnipe…
I know. That’s why I said “And it’s not as if you would dare criticise a fucking CHILDREN’S CHARITY without those first two letters.” It doesn’t mean they’re the same organisation, moron.
“So, no one can defend the credibility of the UN, eh?”
No-one needs to, it’s not in question here.
Hey, DIMWIT Nimrod, get that Caps Key fixed, will you?
I was collecting for the “Children’s Charity”, as you disingenuously refer to it, before you were hatched born, you twit.
Are they more believable because they hand out those nifty collection cartons at Halloween?
Keep struggling, DangerMouse!
The point is, you’re flubbing and hemmahawing so you don’t have to deal with the report talking about the horrific things that the government you defend beyond rationality has caused.
Let me summarize the report objectively: Iraq has been messed up by the war.
From the Left’s point of view: Awwk! Bush! Halliburton!
Awwk!
I think that clarifies things nicely, don’t you, DangerMouse?
Can we not ban this attention whoring dickhead’s IP address?
Nimrod, I can’t speak for Oliver but I like having Frank around. He’s a welfare queen who hates welfare. A devout Catholic divorcee. A veteran intent on strategies to hallow out our military. A tax cutter who doesn’t pay taxes. Sure, he’s an idiot, but he’s a useful idiot.
Listen, DangerMouse!
When Frank can make a comment here without immediately being harangued without regard to the content of my comment, he will become more civil than anyone.
Until then, the current level of interchange will be maintained: Frank makes a comment. You all line up and attack him.
Frank defends myself.
If you want to keep the thread on track, you have one of three choices:
1) Address him in a civil tone, as if he is a human being (not likely to happen between now and the end of the world)
2) Ignore him (problematic but workable)
3) Maintain the status quo ante, or as they call it in the therapy business, homeostasis.
That’s his final offer.
I dunno, I think his usefulness (if not his idiocy) is coming to an end here. His mental state has degenerated to the point where he only posts on-topic by accident, constantly refers to himself in the third person, and inevitably makes every thread about him and how he’s being attacked, simultaneously attacking everyone who dares disagree with him while pleading his own civility.
I think Frank’s descent into dementia is pretty fascinating, but I’m inclined to agree with Nimmer on this one.
I can assure you both that I am in full possession of his faculties, and you may ignore me, if you choose.
The important question is, “Why do you continue to comment on me?”
Am I that important to you?
“Address him in a civil tone, as if he is a human being”
Be glad to, if you would start being one.
E L : How clever!
I remember the first time I used that rejoinder. I was in the 4th grade.
You know, the one where you dropped out to work at the GAP?
I’m not on welfare, unlike some 60 year olds from Westchester.
When Frank can make a comment here without immediately being harangued without regard to the content of my comment, he will become more civil than anyone.
Well I’ve done my part. I have made any geezer jokes in months.
But please stop, Frank. This mata-commenting is getting dangerously close to inventing a “4th person” perspective.
Enlightened Liberal (both a misnomer and an oxymoron) I’m not on welfare, either. Go check your records. Of course, you liberals despise people on welfare. It’s more evidence of your hypocrisy.
Zython: The only reason you haven’t been a disrespectful, discourteous boor in months, is because you haven’t posted in months.
Zython: The only reason you haven’t been a disrespectful, discourteous boor in months, is because you haven’t posted in months.
Unregardless…
And it’s not my fault that when I try to access this site on campus, it redirects me to a search engine.
Frank, is there a reason that you’re being more obnoxious than usual? Seriously, you’re being a complete prick for absolutely no reason.
mambochicken23: You want a real answer? Or is this a set up for one of your oh – so – edgy attacks?
I’ll give you an answer, but I am sure it won’t satisfy you — or probably anybody else.
For two days, I had a different name. I didn’t even flame people who insulted me. I “played by the rules”. Then, Oliver had to let every one know my name.
And in 2 SECONDS, not 2 hours, or 2 days, it turned right back to shit again.
So, I figured, “What’s the point?” You guys didn’t give an inch, why should I?”
I’m sure your answer will be, “Then, leave”, right, Nimrod?
Interesting thing about that. I don’t like being run off. I’m funny that way. So I asked Oliver to ban me, so I couldn’t post if I wanted to.
Guess what? He didn’t.
So, I’ll make the offer one more time: Treat me like a decent human being, or don’t.
But don’t ask me to go first. I already did, and look what happened.
This just in:
You need to take Patriot out of you name and replace it with something more appropriate. I would suggest moron, but Frank’s got that one taken.

{Note: I had not even posted to that thread. I think that qualifies as “gratuitous”, eh?}
OK, Frank. No gotcha moment here. Just curious.
Poor Dugger, Hussein kills maybe 1,000,000 over 25 years including casualties from a US backed war, and over 600,000 Iraqis have died under 4 years of Bush designed US occupation and he just can’t come to terms with it.
“So, I’ll make the offer one more time: Treat me like a decent human being, or don’t.
But don’t ask me to go first. I already did, and look what happened.”
Frank, you’re stupid. That’s a key reason for you being attacked.
How’s this for a deal: Stop saying dumb things and we’ll stop calling you dumb.
(By the way, you seem to like it when I call you a moron. It plays into your persecution complex.)
“For two days, I had a different name. I didn’t even flame people who insulted me. I “played by the rules”. ”
Don’t you get it? You weren’t treated like an @sshole because you weren’t acting like one. Of course, when you were outed, you instantly reverted to your true self.
you instantly reverted to your true self.
Can you see into cyberspace?
