You need to take Patriot out of you name and replace it with something more appropriate. I would suggest moron, but Frank’s got that one taken.
For the reality based community out there, this is pretty convincing evidence that Olbermann isn’t a mouthpiece of the Democratic Party as some have called him. It also suggest that when the Democrats take over in Washingtin, he won’t become a cheerleader and lose relevance.

Will this cause wingnut heart attacks? They’ll be torn between the impulse to link to the video with sarcasm dripping, “Even Olbermann hates the spinless Dems! Ha!”, but then whipsaw into “No! I can’t link to the Olbyloon! Mistress Malkin will lock me in the broom closet again!”

I don’t know if “some people” consider him a mouthpiece of the Democratic Party, but he is indubitably a spokesman for the frenetic left. Whether he chooses to remain that histrionic in the unlikely event the Democrats can move someone into the White House in 2009, is really of no importance to me.

The fact that you consider this unlikely makes me believe the Dems have a nearly 100% lock on the White House in 2009.

How far left is he? As someone else said, 70% of the public want out of Iraq, so you can’t really use that as evidence of his “far leftness”. What other policies does he advocate that can definitively mark him as far left?

Congress should have written into the latest version that after this payment bush’s chronic war would henceforth be funded not by ‘emergency legislation’ but would be a line item on the DoD allocation in the annual budget.
Wonder if bush would have vetoed that.
It’s funny watching liberals bemoan the fact that Democrats in Congress are happy just to sit pat now that they’ve gained control back.
Of course, that’s all it has been about: control. They sold anybody who would listen a bill of goods about how they were going to be the arbiters of change and blah blah blah blah.

Frank’s right, there are still some factors that would prevent a Democratic victory in 2008.
1. The moon crashes into the earth and destroys life as we know it.
2. The sun prematurely explodes, destoying all life as we know it.
3. Dick Cheney declares dictatorial rule, preventing an election from occuring.
etc. etc.
Thankfully, I wasn’t watching the fearsome Mr. Olbermann. Are there any scorched Democrats running around Washington today?

No Frank, I live in reality where almost nothing is 100%. I admit there are such things as margin of error an uncertainty. The fact that I have to explain this to you shows how out of touch with reality you are. It also shows why you are a conservative.
I don’t look for 100% certainty because I know it doesn’t exist.
Strangely, you demand such certainty for things like Global Warming, but ignore it when determining if we should go to war.
CSS: Strangely, you failed to notice that I called a Democrat moving into the White House “unlikely”. I did not refer to it is as “certain not to occur”.
