Seems Like A Decent Question For Sen. Edwards To Me
Tweet
From Hotline:
Why did John Edwards not disclose his Fortress salary until today? That’s three weeks of bad Iowa stories, a George S. grilling, and lots of other unnecessary guff? Just for $479K?
The Edwards campaign seems to me to make some silly amateur hour mistakes that you wouldn’t think would even be on the horizon of someone that ran for president a scant 3 years ago. And the problem is, so much of it is self-inflicted.
The argument you’re trying to make is that you’re more organized than Sen. Clinton, the most hard-charging campaign since the Bush ’04 machine. Cowboy up, folks.

An even better question for Edwards is why he voted to authorize Bush’s war in Iraq when he knew that the administration was feeding us all a line of shit.
Edwards can go take a flying fuck at a rolling donut as far as I’m concerned. I would never vote for him.
He is scum.
Oliver, aren’t you supposed to be ignoring this sort of news so the conservatives on your site can complain about how unbalanced your perspective is? What’s ian going to do if he can’t point out this sort of story to you and ask you why you didn’t post about it?
Nobody is even kind of going to care about this. Should he have divulged this? Yes. Will it matter politically, No. As such, it’s not a real mistake. I’d agree that Edwards does seriously need to get his shit in gear if he wants to stay in this, but I don’t think these “mistakes” hurt him enough for it to matter.
Nihilist, at this point attacking anyone not named Clinton is to aid Hillary. Given the grounds of your opposition, I’d be training my sights on the more dangerous of the two. Hillary has a stronger nomination, Hillary is more likely to begin a war with Iran, and Hillary is more likely to go along with whatever the DLC wants.
spiderJ, it’s his blog. Personally, it would be wiser tactically to ignore these sorts of things. We are suffering from a hack gap, and it is hurting us. People like Mr. Willis here aren’t that kind of people though. I’m sure he views this as a personal strength, but I view it as someone worried more about getting a good nights rest than making the world a different place. That’s why he’s moderate. He has a weak stomach.
Whenever there’s a hack gap…I guess Twix fits?
I’ve a friend that worked at a hedge fund and he was shocked that the number came out so QUICKLY. Something about figuring out what percentage of investments went to what. He said he and his co-investors always took a six month extension before they could get the correct numbers together.
I know it isn’t as “sexy” as bashing his campaigns inexperience and mistakes, but…
