Where is my floating car? Where’s my jet back? Where is the self cleaning house. what the heck happened to that world where we would have more and more leisure time? You’re to young to remember that Oliver but talk to anyone old enough to remember the 1964 World Expo and ask them about all the things that the futured promised then.

At that time this country seemed to have promise. People, politicians and scientist all were optimistic. That is not to say the country didn’t have problems but the problems seemed fixable and the future looked bright. Now when we talk about the future it is all doom and gloom.

So where is my floting car.

I’ve seen that car. It’s made in Ontario Canada where all the finest American cars are made.

While this car is fantastic, I hate to say it, but Althouse has had a very nice series of photographic posts on classic cars, and I am scared and possibly damned, but she and I have similar tastes in classic cars.

This may not be quite as fantastic, but it does strike me as closer to the Blade Runner models.

Super cars of the future are not supposed to count as product placement.

    Disqualified.
