Michael Moore ain’t running for president and nobody on the Democratic side thinks that he’s a viable candidate for the presidency.
Sadly the same can’t be said for Hollywood actor Fred Thompson.
Fred Thompson is much smarter than you, Oliver.
That’s why he seems like a joke to you. I’ll also bet he’s not as vitriolic and idiotic as you.

There is something profound in seeing Fred Thompson scolding Michael Moore for praising Cuba with a big black Cuban dick hanging out of his mouth.

All of this may be true, but it’s also true that the Donk ideology is incredibly consistent with Moore’s views, which is the crux of the argument being presented. Moore’s viability as a candidate is not the issue here, it’s that the Democratic leadership, and to a certain degree its base, is infected with ideas that have proven to be corrosive to the ideals of liberty.
Let’s be fair, here, Oliver, since that is so much of a moral value of you self-described liberals. Moore is a hack, and always will be. His stunt had nothing to do with helping the individuals who he took to Cuba for “treatment”, but instead for more airtime in his quest at bashing his favorite target. Thompson may be a hack too, from your perspective, but let’s not confuse our personal prejudices with anything approaching labeling something as being “correct” or “righteous”, shall we?Mike just isn’t anything of the sort.

how about this non-sense that you leftists/socialists/”Democrats” keep harping about “universal healthcare”, or whatever you are branding it as, this week. That isn’t just corrosive to the ideal of liberty, it is thoroughly statist in its absolutism. I’m sure you view the situation differently, but you are wrong. It isn’t a voluntary system and it never will be. It’s about “the Collective” and not about individual liberty.
