McCain Betrays The Cons
Tweet
They say the media’s liberal but in chatting with WaPo’s Howard Kurtz, John McCain betrays the spin.
John McCain told me on his campaign bus a couple of weeks ago that he believes 99 percent of reporters try to do a fair and objective job.

Don’t know if I would agree with McCain’s number, but I also believe most reporters try to be and think their reporting is unbiased. Its not, though. they are blind to the bias. An assertion that it has been provenn that global warming is predominantly man-made and that that science is fully settled would not seem like bias to them.

It depends on how you define predominantly; I think most scientists wouldn’t use that particular word. However, the rest of your statement is 100% correct.
They could certainly ‘try’, it doesn’t mean they are. I could try to be the best golfer in the world every day, but I was a spectator at the TPC this weekend, not a participant.
