Expect the cons to fall in line with this line of defense from Regnery (the same company that owns Redstate.com).

Amazing, Oliver. Good find.
I went looking for the book at Amazon, searching for “Rowan Scarborough” and got 2 other tiles that are due for release in July 2007 and whose titles begin with “Sabotage:”
Sabotage: The CIA’s War against Bush Audiocassette
Sabotage: America’s Enemies Within the CIA Hardcover
A search for the title displayed in the image you point to (Sabotage: The CIA’s Secret Plan to Lose the War) doesn’t come up with a direct hit.
Very strange. Very very strange.
Very strange. Very very strange.
Secret agents infiltrating every book store in America, and changing the book covers — Whoa!
We can already anticipate that if one conservative, anywhere, at anytime, refers to that book, you instantly elevate that person to the level of a “conservative god” and call your prediction vindicated.
Oliver, you should be ashamed of yourself. Comparing one book to the “stabbed in the back” theme of the National Socialist Party.
The Stabbed in the Back meme has been a right wing talking point since at least WWII. The Progressive ran a great article on it some months ago. The riech wing has already started trotting it out for the Iraq mess.
If the next president does pull US troops out of Iraq and there is no gaurantee that he/she will watch it go into high gear.
Frank, you and yours whine about everything being the “Liberals”‘ fault all the time.
NG: As you are stereotypically complaining about me right now
Alright, I’ll make it less personal: the right wing whine about everything being the “Liberals”‘ fault all the time.
NG: As you are stereotypically complaining about them right now.
Please shut up and go away.
There you go!
blathersite, I got a direct hit on the title at Amazon.uk
Oh, great, they’re publishing it here as well.
Frank, if you can’t act like a grown-up, don’t post at all.
NG: (From the guy who has been makinmg corny jokes, and telling me to “Shut up and go away” for a year, now) You are kidding, right?
Let me be as clear as I can:
You made the statement, “Frank, you and yours whine about everything being the “Liberals”‘ fault all the time.[emphasis added]
First of all, I didn’t blame anything on “the liberals”, but you made a gross generalization about conservatives. I pointed thet out to you.
You decided that I wasn’t acting like a grown up.
Now, did I get anything wrong?
You guys are all so you used to imitating each other, and mouthing clichés, you’re even doing it when you address me.
Do you think you just say anything to me?
Think again.
No, I didn’t, I made an accurate observation about a talking point I’m getting sick of, and you still refuse to act like a grown-up.
OK, then, do me a favor: Explain to me what makes you think that, in this particular instance, I blamed ANY liberals for ANY thing, and we’ll just forget about the whole generalizing / stereotyping thing.
Fair enough?
I wasn’t talking about this particular instance.
NG: You need to back off. It has become so easy for you to attack me that you can say things like, You do X ALL the time, but not THIS time”.
What’s the point here?
I can be wrong, you can be wrong, we can even flame each other, but senseless venom?
Why do you think I mentioned the Pipettes? And that British library site?
Think about it.
Because you’re insane? Look, you’re the one flying off the handle here. The answer to your question is, nothing makes me think that in this particular instance you etc, etc, because I wasn’t talking about you or anything you’d done, I was referring to the trend among Republicans and their supporters to go around blaming anyone but themselves when something goes wrong as it inevitably does. CF about a dozen This Modern World strips, Bolling’s Nate the Neoconservative and many, many others. No venom was involved at any point.
As I have said before about a dozen times, I am not the Ambassador from Conservatismia. I speak for myself about myself. When you address a comment to “you” you mean “me”.
When you talk about conservatives / republicans, you mean conservatives / republicans.
Yeah, Oliver, why do you and the rest of the radiclibs hate America?
What I said was, “You and Yours”.
