If You Go To Green Bay, Learn To Talk Football

In the last electoral cycle it was John Kerry and "Lambert" Field. This time around Sam Brownback insults Green Bay hero Brett Favre.
Note to Sen. Sam Brownback: In Packerland, it’s not cool to diss Brett Favre.
The GOP presidential hopeful drew boos and groans Friday at the Wisconsin Republican Party convention when he used a football analogy to talk about the need to focus on families.
"This is fundamental blocking and tackling," he said. "This is your line in football. If you don’t have a line, how many passes can Peyton Manning complete? Greatest quarterback, maybe, in NFL history."
John Madden (aka Frank Caliendo) talks about Brett Favre in the proper terms:
For the record I think Favre is one of the greats but not as good as Manning, and should have hung it up about 3 years ago.

I liked him doing the yeast infection commercial with the telestrator
Maybe not as technically great as Manning, but far more passionate; he was the greatest player on Sunday in his prime. His first game after losing his Dad was the most emotionally powerful sports moment. Evah.
Having watched Roger Staubach, Fran Tarkingon, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, and Steve Young, I’m not sure what Brownback was thinking. Perhaps the best quarterback in the game this past year.
But in Green Bay- it’s Favre, Favre, Favre.
Damn- and John Elway…
DOH!!! Dan Marino too…
Though Joe Gilliam may have been the best of all had they continued to let him play.
