Does that link go to chickenhawk land? Those guys are as cowardly and moronic as frank and his idol Commander Guy.
Nothing in that stuff from Media Matters indicates that the Governor didn’t contact Brownback, or hear from Dean.
So your evidence is as “baseless” as the “charges”. It’s still “He said, she said”.
And merl, where do you get off calling me cowardly? I’m not afraid of you, that’s for damned sure. You’re a punk.
IT’S ON NOW

Don’t worry. Merlalllen is safe. I don’t hurt animals or little children.
Good. Free speech doens’t mean you get to lie about people.
“Nothing in that stuff from Media Matters indicates that the Governor didn’t contact Brownback, or hear from Dean.”
So you want them to prove a negative. You realize you are aksing for the impossible here, right?
Uh – uh…
As of 05/11/2007 4:25:45 AM PDT, no one at Free Republic has retracted anything because, according to them, none of the relevant parties is confirming or denying anything.
I can only assume Howard’s next cease-and-desist letter will be to himself over spreading rumors about how Bush knew about 9/11 beforehad. Otherwise … hypocrite.
…beforehand. Spellcheck is for sissies.
GOod for the DNC, good for Howard Dean.
The free reign of terror of the “New Media” drive-bys is now over, baby.
Under Dean, Dems have learned to hit back, and hit back hard. Rush Limbaugh or Hannity against Howard Dean, man-to-man, no holds barred?
No contest. Bitch-slap time.
Well, if Quinn and Tennent are sticking with their story, then let’s see if Dean is willing to go all the way and file suit. Of course, once a lawsuit is filed, they’ll have to turn over all kinds of records, including telephone records and any other correspondence between parties.
Sending a cease and desist letter is nothing. Anybody can do it and many people have.
Jay, I think the country is in no mood to hear “freedom of speech, it’s my opinion” arguments from radio shock jocks.
I see public sympathy swinging heavy towards Dean and Dems on this. Doesn’t matter what the suit or no suit results or no results prove. The suitlikely won’t be hearduntil aafter the Election in ‘08.
It’s about image, it’s about publicity, it’s about “values”.
As a right-wingnut, you should appreciate our Chairman’s gumption, and admire his onions.
I alwys thought the GOP’s WORST move in 2004 was in having Dean killed off in Iowa.
As President, Howard Dean would have nowhere near the national political impact he’s had so far as Chair of the DNC.
I give him total credit for the AMAZING Dem performance in ‘06, when we ran the table, and for the huge advantages we are now enjoying over the GOP by every measure in the coming cycle.
LMAO on this whole thing. Trying to stifle free speech by stifling a story that the DNC won’t deny (phone calls were made – information in phone calls not released) just gives this whole thing a lot more legs!
Gitty up.
I see public sympathy swinging heavy towards Dean and Dems on this.
So what else is new? The Democrats could toss puppies into blenders, and you would see “public sympathy swinging heavy towards Dean and [the] Dems”.
Stop talking to alt-Frank from the universe where the Dems are like our Republicans.
Actually I think that’s usually called “projecting”.
