    More interesting is the story of the gas station owner who wanted to lower his prices, but nanny-state liberals threatened to fine him unless he raised them.

    The state of California ($0.32/gal.) and the US government ($0.44/gal.) make more on a gallon of gas than the oil companies.

    The wind-fall profits made by the state and federal government on gasoline should be investigated.

    Maybe that Shell dealer should switch to selling cars. I’d bet he’d be much happier and feel much more secure working as a dealer for a Big 3 automaker that hasn’t made a profit in years.
