Out-of-the-norm? This is not the first time Bush as been sub-30. It would be cherrypicking if most of his polls were in the 40% range, but this isn’t the case and hasn’t been the case in a long time.

Rounds, it is important for Farris and friends to make the fine distinction between three-quarters or two-thirds of Americans hating Bush. Someday soon, probably when Bush has left office, they will all rightfully hate him as he killed the party for a generation.

I don’t know why we continue arguing with these dillusional Bush supporters. The American people no longer heed Republican advice. And the polls have been very reliable and steady for over a year now, saying one thing: Bush sucks!!

Support for a withdrawal timetable is consistently over 50%, and tends to center around 55-60% in recent polling. If the facts on the ground don’t change much in the next year, it may peak at around 70-75%, which is pretty much “if you support this you will lose badly in November” territory.

The Dems should hold out for 100% backing on this one. Why take any chances alienating a single voter.

To be super safe they should provide no strings attached funding to the last day of Bush’s second term. It will save them having to to be slapped down by a wimp for the next year and a half.
