The headline: “In Debate, Democrats Show More Unity Than Strife”. You can almost see Adam Nagourney and company shaking their heads, wondering what the deal is. They have had the prewritten template for years about “Democrats divided” because they take one or two outliers as symptomatic of a deep divide when in fact the true disarray currently is on the Republican side who can’t decide if it wants to try to win or pander to extremists.

I find it really amazing that the Republicans were seen as this rock-steady block with no ideological differences for years.
