The Dixie Chicks said they were embarrassed that the president was from the same state as they were and they got death threats that were detailed and specific enough that the FBI got involved. Ignoring reality seems to work well for them. Kind of reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where that bum just randomly yells 'potato salad'.
