As far as the political commentary involved, should Ried have stated the war as lost? No. But there are a million better paths for political commentary than cheapening yourself to that level. She should stick to innacurate books and FOX interviews.

In any case, Michelle obviously did this to ensure that Bill’O continues to book her to fill in for him.

1) Oliver, who every now and then brags about his fantasy love affair with Jessica Alba, mocks someone ELSE for public silliness.

2) The video Chester linked to showed Michelle Malkin simply dramatizing the words of a prominent fellow-traveller of Oliver’s. She bowdlerized the profanities, but otherwise every single word was Amanda Marcotte’s.

I regret Oliver’s posting this. To avoid any future charges of hypocrisy, he’ll have to forego any “my secret affair with Jessica Alba” postings or videos like that “Honkytonk Badonkadonk” by Trace Adkins, one I personally appreciated a great deal.

Anyone seen Oliver’s sense of fun? Did CK chew it up? It’s one thing about him I liked, and will miss.

You see, the running gag, kicked off by Oliver, was that the clip related to “barely legal” and “cheerleading” and “schoolgirl” dress.

So, I was pretending that you lefties were actually expecting that, and that you were unaware that Michele was engaged in blatant lampooning of the defeatist Democrats, despite the white flags and photographs of prominent Democrats.

And then, I was acting like I was surprised to discover that Ms. Malkin was, indeed, lampooning the defeatist Democrats (which, of course, I had anticipated all along, without even seeing the clip, just based on the comments).

So, don’t you feel like horses’ asses now? Because you are.
