oh thanks God! Now there will never be another random shooting in VA!

  2. SpiderJ says:

Jesus, Pedro. Not that there won’t ever be another random shooting, but isn’t at least ONE less random shooting worth this?

32 innocent people might still be alive if Cho hadn’t slipped through Virginia’s loophole. That’s 32 reasons to close it. The regular means of buying a gun are still there for the law-abiding.

  3. pedromd07 says:

one guy with a concealed weapon would have saved 30 lives….

You guys aren’t interested in saving lives, you are interested in your own ideology.

To go beyond the requirement that Court – ordered treatment be registered would prevent anyone with a mental illness from owning a gun.

Given that people diagnosed with mental illnesses are less dangerous than the general population that would be be fruitless, as well as discriminatory.

    Are you completely INSANE?

  6. SpiderJ says:

Or one guy with a concealed weapon could have:

    (a) still been shot by the other guy with weapons

    (b) been shot by police officers on the lookout for a student with a gun

    (c) accidentally shot an innocent bystander

Regardless, this mythical John McClane you speak of could still have bought his concealed carry through legitimate means. All Kaine is suggesting is that the frickin loophole through which the shooter got his weapons be closed. Why can’t you get behind that?

  7. Duros62 says:

Why can’t you get behind that?

Simply because you and I are for it.

  8. SpiderJ says:

Duros – I think you mean “Because LEFTISTS!!! are for it.”
