The NARAL Disaster
Tweet
NARAL backed a (losing) Republican candidate that would have voted in an anti-choice majority and failed miserably (along with People For The American Way) to mount a remotely credible campaign against Roberts and Alito, and for that they want you to send them money.
To paraphrase Atrios, do not reward craptacular behavior.

Careful, the usual suspects are still pissed with Kos for daring to defy NARAL. You could be next.
Yeah, I’m shakin’.
and failed miserably (along with People For The American Way) to mount a remotely credible campaign against Roberts and Alito
Hard to mount a credible campaign against two jurists with impeccable credentials like Roberts and Alito.
Also, are you going to continued to reward Harry Reid who voted for the legislation upheld by the SCOTUS?
I have seen more incompetence from single-issue advocacy groups than I could ever have imagined. Equality Maryland (gay rights) has been the target of my criticisms since last September and I don’t know that they have had an “accountability moment” yet.
Oliver’s post and Bruce’s comment give me the sudden realization that this should be an obvious failure of single issue groups, which are by their nature vulnerable to divide and conquer tactics.
