Media Matters is a non-profit organization that, by law, is forbidden from engaging in partisan politics, while it roots out anything that appears in the media that might detract from the Left's domination of mainstream media. It demonizes the right, marginalizes moderates, and relentlessly purges the left of any who stray from its orthodoxy. It also pays our gracious host a salary to do various and sundry duties that don't keep him from blogging during the work day. And it achieves all this without engaging in anything like partisan political activity, which would endanger its tax-free non-profit status. Any questions? J.
