Of course, the thirty-percenters won’t believe it, but who gives a crap about them anyway: “The Pentagon says it has enough money to pay for the Iraq war through June, despite warnings from the White House that troops are being harmed by Congress’ failure to quickly deliver more funds.”.

    I knew that.
    Doesn’t fit the rhetoric model, though, I guess.

    Heh. And just think, the Democrats were stupid enough to think that they could use a military spending bill to blackmail the President into signing over $$$ billions in pork for them.

    Bush won’t sign the bill if its loaded with pork. He’s said so. Now he has three more months to let the Democrats prove how effective they will be at “draining the swamp” in D. C.

    Well, get to work guys.

    Bush won’t sign the bill if its loaded with pork. He’s said so.

    No, he won’t sign it if it holds him to any deadlines, measures, or accountabilities.

    BTW, what ever happened to all those stout fellows who scored Mr. Kerry for “voting against funding for the troops”? Do you suppose they’ll treat Mr. Bush as harshly if he vetoes funding?

    He has never had a funding bill that wasn’t loaded down with pork.
