Who Wrote This One For Glorified Reader Katie Couric?

She reads them like they just came in from RNC headquarters.

In the April 12 edition of her “Notebook” video blog, CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric asked, “Is America ready to elect a president who grew up praying in a mosque?” and proceeded to repeat debunked rumors surrounding Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-IL) childhood years in Indonesia.

Is America ready to tune out an unqualified, undignified anchor who isn’t up to the job? I sure hope so.

    This woman is a twit. She was a twit in the morning and she’s a twit at night. Give her a cookie – at least she’s consistent. Watching her is just excrutiating!

    The commentary she read was so insipid I wondered what the point of the taping was? She needs better writers (also exemplified by her recent faux pas that was in the news the other day). I was under the mistaken impression that the MSM and its anchors were supposed to report the news, not try to re-create controversy (day late and a dollar short by the way).

    She’s last in the ratings, so, yeah, America is ready to ignore her.

    Worse still, she’s even banal when she’s stealing her material from others.

    Why hasn’t Katie Couric been fired? I know CBS has $15 million invested in her, but regardless, she’s been guilty of plagiarism, copying directly from the Wall Street Journal. Doesn’t that violate every tenet of journalistic ethics?
