Number of Americans — about 300 million.

Yet they rated higher than any other Cable News Channel.

The majority of Americans don’t even watch Fox News,…

But..but.. they’re the highest rated Cable News outlet evar!

American Idol still cleans up in the ratings and consistently fails to produce a genuine musical artist from its stable of “winners,” (although I admit a slight affinity for Kelly Clarkson).

Similarly, Fox “News” cleans up in the ratings and fails to produce anything but noise.

The only thing this says to me is that the 30-percenters spend an awful lot of time in front of their TV sets.

The rest of us have real lives.

Bush has been president for six years. That’s as opposed to months. Besides, I’d rather my politicians did what was right that what was popular anyway.

Hey, don’t forget the approval ratings of the Democrat-controlled Congress, which are still lower than Bush’s (33% vs. 38% for Bush) and with disapproval ratings that are higher (60% vs. 58% for Bush). Although in fairness to the Dems these numbers are slightly higher than the Republican-controlled Congress had last year (average 25% approval).

I guess the Democrats’ new slogan can be “We suck slightly less than the Republicans!”.

The democrats are more interesting in reforming syria than they are of “reforming” republicans? It is perfectly reasonable to attempt to convince a terrorist state that they are wrong, but your own countrymen, with whom you SHARE a nation aren’t worth the effort?

The CBC has its reasons for having Fox host a debate, and the candidates have legitimate reasons for skipping it. I think the ones skipping the debate should get together and rent a church hall across town and host a town hall style meeting that night.
