It’s getting worse for the former Republican frontrunner.

Why do you have an ad for McCain at the top of your website?
Hail-mary pass by McCain. He realizes his campaign is tanking. His only hope is to make himself into “Mr. Surge” and then hope that some kind of improvement emerges that his lapdog media pals will attribute to the surge.
wow cons really dont understand google adwords do they ?
And yet you continue to allow McCain’s campaign to advertise on your site.
Hypocrite.
If OW doesn’t care much for St John, helping McCain waste some of his meager campaign resources on an ineffective ad on this blog is not inconsistent. Ineffective because left-leaning visitors see McCain as a proponent of bush’s idiotic quest for failure in Iraq, and wingnuts see him as too librul.
I’m wondering if McCain is sinking fast, or if he is a frontrunner.
I thought Rudy “the man who shouldn’t be President because his friend is no good” Giuliani was the frontrunner.
I love it.
The GOP’s incredible march into a marginal party incapable of mounting any challenge to the Democratic Party is gathering momentum.
I still can’t get over the fact that “Oven” Mitt Romney (tm- Wolcott) was the by-a-mile money winner among GOP candidates, and yet is still in single digits in most polls.
What does that mean? That the corporate bosses have picked their candidate, but the base has rejected him. Look out, here comes Fred Thompson!! LOL!
I think the only way the GOP comes back into play in ‘08 is with a terrorist attack in this country, God forbid.
Another bad sign for McCain and Bush:
“Iraqis pack Najaf for anti-US march”
-Shia cleric calls protesters to “end the occupation” four years after Baghdad’s fall.

When the Shia want us out, its over.
The only big question remaining is:
Now that Bush’s surge has the streets of Iraq around the Parliament building calm enough for a quorum of members to finally show up for work and vote to sign over their natural resources to ‘all the people’/aka Bush, Cheney and friends (because let’s face it, de-nationalizing Iraqs oil and gas is what its really been all about), will the desperate Iraqis sign away?
Actually there is one more question:
Once they read the fine American print and find out that Cheney doen’t share with anyone, what will the Iraqi people do then Mr. McCain?
The past 4 years will have been a cake walk in comparison.
Stay tuned for more mushroom - induced political commentary from Wellstone and hazmaq…
And heeeere’s Frank!
With yet another of his now-famous mental-hospital comedy stylings…
Try the veal patty, Frank, it helps the meds go down a little easier.
So frank, are you a big McCain lover, or just belly-aching? The guy is toast.
buma: If were a supporter of McCain, I wouldn’t be a McCain lover.
I don’t like him very much. I don’t dislike him enough to make fun of him, as you guys seem to.
I’m not terribly thrilled with any of the current bunch.
Wellstone: Sorry if I’m funnier than you, not that’s it all that difficult.
It becomes a problem, though, when YOU think you’re the funniest person in the room, and no one else is laughing.
Yea, Frank, the Meds’ll do that to ya…
