Why Democrats Hate The DLC
Tweet
Nonsense like this from Harold Ford. The DLC clings to the election of President Clinton as its sterling accomplishment, but like a good amount of those who orbited President Clinton, it has become more and more clear that the winning force was President Clinton and folks are just trying to steal some of his sunlight. Furthermore, Ford tries to make it sound like the DLC supports mainstream Democratic positions when it fact it simply does not. Even pro-market centrist Dems like yours truly can see that that dog does not hunt.

The sterling of democratic presidents was FDR.
Clinton was a middling president. He could have been a great president. He had the ability to. But, he was so distracted with the soap opera that is the Clinton’s lives, it never happen.
I just don’t look back all that fondly for the 90s.
Maybe that is why I support the future, Obama, and dont’ support Hillary
