You say that Mitt Romney said that he was a lifetime hunter and then insinuate that two hunting trips doesn’t make him a hunter. First of all what he actually said is that he has hunted “pretty much all his life” which basically means that he started young. If you notice he puts two qualifying words in the front of his statement “pretty much”, I don’t know how familiar with English so I’ll explain. When he qualifies his statement he is purposely trying to make it less strong. He’s saying he has not actually hunted all his life but pretty much. Like if I were to say that pretty much all of your arguments are poor, well that doesn’t mean that there all poor, just most of them. Also, he doesn’t say that he is a hunter (as far as I’ve seen) he says that he has hunted. Furthermore, if he has only gone on 2 hunting trips, does that mean that he has only hunted twice? No, in Utah you can shoot rabbits in your back yard. He probably frequently did just that when he visited his cousins or was with his sons at their vacation home. Go talk to a dozen guys who grew up in Utah, I’ll wager that one of them has killed some varmint in their life.
