Oliver’s priorities:
1) Making sure Iraq is abandoned

3) Getting Pres. Bush to resign
4) Getting people to read his blog
5) Getting a raise from Media Matters
Meh. The rest of the stuff is what it is. I’m especially keen on wishing Tony well because: a) I genuinely wish him well; and b) so the wingnuts don’t accuse me of wishing him dead because I didn’t make a public declaration of my hopes for his recovery.
Tony’s an okay guy who happens to work for a total asshole. (Would that he not evince such pleasure in doing his job.) We can all empathize with that at some level.
Frank’s priorities:
1) Being a knee-jerk troll with nothing of substance to add to any discussion he happens to stumble into.

jimmmm: How very creative of you…
It must have been difficult to change the numbers after you copy – and – pasted “Being a knee-jerk troll with nothing of substance to add to any discussion he happens to stumble into.”
By the way, that’s a really stupid use of the word “priority”.
I would have done it this way:
Jimmm’s priority:
Struggling to criticize Frank for making unnecessary comment s, by making an unnecessary comment.
Which is, of course, an unnecessary comment.
So, “Which is, of course, an unnecessary comment” is an unnecessary comment.
Ooh, look! I’m in a recursive set — Godel, Escher and Bach, oh, my!
Let’s all remember if (God Forbid) anyone Oliver knows gets sick / passes away.
“You can’t grieve! Don’t you know there’s a War on?!?”
I certainly hope the situation NEVER arises.

Your “Priorities” link goes to the “Latest News” section on the WH home page and highlights the Tuskegee Airmen award ceremony. Is this supposed to be your scathing proof that the White House priorities are out of whack?
The “Latest News” section is right next to the “Features” section on the WH homepage. It’s ALL on the WH home page.
Sorry, I don’t have my Democrat SuperHero decoder ring on, so I can’t be sure what you’re trying to bitch about here. Can you clarify what is it about the WH homepage that has your panties in a bind (other than the general fact that the current occupant of the WH doesn’t have a ‘D’ after his name)? Is it that that the Tuskegee Airmen story should have been under “Features” instead of “Latest News”? I didn’t realize you were so particular about where things are placed on a page. You’re like the Detective Monk of Media Matters!
Lame, OW, very lame. I think you were stoned when you wrote this.
