It isn’t every day I write about Jamaican hip hop girl groups. Today is that day. This has been our plan all along. First they planted the nerds like me, then they bring on the heavy guns.

    I found a really wonderful, brutal, honest, and poignant performance by Kermit on the Rainbow Disconnection, of Hurt (on YouTube.)

    I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but apparently it came from here:
    Soon after the death of Jim Henson, Kermit the Frog turned to a life full of drugs, alcohol and sex. His fall to rock-bottom was quick and unrelenting. These songs document Kermit’s pain during these years…and years to come.

    The Kermit thing was hysterical.
