Rick Santorum is making movies instead of making law.
Michael Moore, look out. Rick Santorum is getting into the documentary filmmaking business and he’s out to tell ”the other side of the story.”
Less than three months removed from his congressional career, the former Pennsylvania senator said in an interview last week that he is planning two film projects in part to counter what he characterized as the stream of left-wing documentaries coming from Hollywood and independent filmmakers.
I just hope the deposed, disgraced former senator Santorum doesn’t indulge his man-on-dog fantasies in film.
A. Grab a dictionary. Santorum was not ‘deposed.’ Dictators are deposed.
B. How was Santorum ‘disgraced’? He lost an election.
Give the hyperbole a rest.
I agree the words are a bit strong, Jay, but Rick Santorum lost a seat that was previously very safely in his hands. He was once one of the most powerful men in Washington who watched his support dry up as constituents and politicians alike realized what a cock-eyed, backwards-thinking loon he was.
Maybe not “deposed” and “disgraced,” but then you have the find the less inflammatory synonyms to accurately describe his fall.
I, for one, can’t wait. This’ll be good.
Tom DeLay was “disgraced”. Santorum merely lost an election in a blue state.
And I don’t think Democratic millionaire bigwig Michael Moore needs to look out. Santorum probably will not be making dishonest leftwing, hate-America propaganda. Moore’s turf is safe.
That’s true–Santorum will probably just make dishonest right-wing hate-certain-Americans propaganda instead.

It wasn’t that blue so long ago. Santorum’s poor statesmanship is part of what helped swing it that way.
