“Lie” is such an ugly word. What was it Gonzalez said? That he wasn’t much involved in the firings?

Well, all he did was approve the list of people to be fired! That took what? Six seconds? Maybe ten?

Meanwhile others spent days, even weeks on the job.

Dear Democrats, please do not use stupid Washington words and phrases like “misled”, “misspoke”, or “was untruthful.”

Agree 100%, OW.

And this needs to be pounded into the minds of Americans this weekend. Why do we need administration officials to testify, in public, under oath, with a transcript?

Because they lie!

It has been our bitter experience that the Democrats allow these opportunities to pass in an effort to show ‘bi-partisanship’ or some other bullshit excuse for refusing to win.

I am sincerely hoping that they realize that if they lose this fight, the other fights they are saving themselves for will be taken off the schedule.

They will be ignored by the White House and the corporate press/media. The public, with no source of information other than the White House, will come to accept Bush’s narrative.

This is about so much more than Bush, or this election cycle or the Democratic Party. It’s about who’s watching the watchmen.
