It’s more that Freepers hate gays really then.
Not that mainstream Conservative thought is at all sympathetic to homosexuals and their lifestyle.

My children have always been more articulate, more compassionate, wittier, and more mature and-well informed than these folks. Starting when they (my kids) were very, very young.

I think Webster needs an additional definition of Conservatism to include “of or relating to an undeveloped, immature mind resting within the cranium of an adult.”
