Young America’s Foundation Spokesman Supports Ann Coulter Calling John Edwards A “Faggot”

Once again, Ann Coulter speaks for them. Jason Mattera, spokesman for the conservative Young America’s Foundation – a major player in the conservative movement – supports Ann Coulter in an appearance on Fox News. Young America’s Foundation bills itself this way on its website: “The Conservative Movement Starts Here”.

You bet it does.

MATTERA: In fact, I would like to also point out she was basically calling John Edwards a wuss, that he was a girlie-man, and that if he were elected president he would probably embolden al Qaeda to attack us. He’s not a real man. And many at CPAC held that sentiment. I mean, it’s grassroots – many – I want to point this out, too. There were thousands of college students there, and she knows how to – communication 101 principle – she knows how to communicate a message to an audience, especially to college students, and she got rousing applause and rousing standing ovations throughout the event.

CNN TV Headline: “Ann Coulter’s Ugly Crack” for captured screen shot, go to http://www.michellemalkinisanidiot.com

Also, according to a Kos thread, three advertisers on her website, FannieMae, NetBank, & Verizon are pulling their ads…thanks to a massive email campaign organized by kossacks.

Well, there’s a good Ann Coulter-ish defense: why not add a sexist attack to the homophobic remark?

    “girlie-man”

I love the last statement: Ann got rousing applause which just shows she can communicate her prejudices well.

  3. z adura says:

I am not really too discerning about what constitutes a “girlie-man,” but that dude certainly isn’t the pinnacle of masculinity with that Mr. Spock haircut and cracking voice.

  4. mdhåtter says:

I bet people will take their hat off for Obama, R or D.

Don’t forget that this is the same asshat who openly mocked and jeered at reporters for Campus Progress and The Washington Monthly when they requested press credentials to cover the “Young Americas Foundation” conference. Wingers go on and on about how those mean liberals shut down conservatives and aren’t interested in exchange of ideas.

    Yeah, right.

Campus Progress and the Center for American Progress routinely grant press credentials to our events to conservative media outlets like CNS News, the Washington Times, Human Events, and others. The National Review covered our Campus Progress National Student Conference last year and again this year.

The author of those National Review pieces? Jason Mattera!

Yes—the same Jason Mattera who has refused Campus Progress a press credential for the Young America’s Foundation annual conference has twice written web pieces about the Campus Progress annual conference – the second time, just days after he denied me access.

This guy is a thuggish, self-righteous, violent prick, and a perfect representative of modern young movement conservatives.

  6. Ian says:

Oh, O-Dub. You have a way of making crap up. He didn’t support the word “faggot” he supported her calling Edwards a “wuss” and you know it.

  7. Rex Mundane says:

Ian, Coulter never called Edwards a “wuss.” Stop making crap up while accusing people of making crap up. That, or concede that he’s supporting something that did not, in fact, happen. Coulter called Edwards a “faggot.” Mattera’s defense of her using an anti-gay slur is basically to suggest that Coulter didnt mean to suggest Edwards actually sucks cock, merely that he looks like the sort of weak willed, namby panby, limp wristed, mincing, prancing, flitting, flirting, alQaeda emboldening, terrorist coddling “wuss” that would, in fact, suck cock recreationally, so its an acceptable term.
Thats an interesting bit of this too, that “faggot” is a worse insult if its meant to refer to homosexuality than “wussitude,” since its so much worse to be gay than a wuss, isnt it? Thats what breaches that line of unforgavibility. The idea seems that an insult is okay if it refers to one persons opinion of another’s appearance, and have nothing to do with whether or not the insult actually applies. Presumably she could have been talking about Obama’s confession of drug use and called him a “Coked-up N****r” and the same defense could be applied.

  8. I have a way of making stuff up by accurately quoting what he said. I’m amazing that way.

  9. …he was a girlie-man, and that if he were elected president he would probably embolden al Qaeda to attack us. He’s not a real man. And many at CPAC held that sentiment.

And this shameless piece of shit (along with his fellow shameless pieces of CPAC shit) has served how many seconds in uniform fighting against ‘al Qaeda’?

As God is my witness, the only thing ‘emboldening our enemies’ is the inability of our most strident hawks to successfully back up one stitch of their tough talk. Effing cowards.

So what do they think of Bush’s homosexual prostitute Gannon/Guckert?

Or indeed Matt “Rod Majors” Sanchez?

  13. Enoch Root says:

I think Mattera is sexually frustrated. He has no idea it’s his hair, though. He likes his hair, but girls don’t. They think it makes him look ‘faggy.’ That’s one of many reasons Coulter will never, ever have sex with him. He should quit trying to impress her.

  14. Enoch Root says:

By the way: We’ve got a pretty well qualified ‘faggot’ running the House Financial Services Committee. Girly-man namby-pamby limp-wristed light-loafer’d since-1981-incumbent street-fightin’ Barney Frank.

Is he somehow less able because he likes the mansex more than the womansex?

And then there are the Republicans. Like, say, Ken Mehlman or Karl Rove. My gaydar goes PING! whenever I see those jokers. They run the country and… well, hmm. Maybe not the best examples.
