Agree the reynolds comment is just a taunt, but don’t understand your extrapolation into their beliefs. Falwell was an idiot for his 9-11 and many other remarks and of course Gore, whose earlier missteps are legendary, is an idiot for his wrong-headed hysteria on sea level rise (20 feet, 20 feet – run for the hills!). About six of one, etc.
