Surprise, surprise, surprise. Not snarking at Oprah, just saying the endorsement was coming, and to add, timing good considering Clinton camp was doing in criticizing David Geffen today and trying to intimidate those who wish to donate to more than one candidate. Clinton sidestepped what her campaign was saying at the AFSCME forum this afternoon.
I don’t know why Clinton thinks she owns the industry considering Al Gore is their rock star, and it believes strongly in diversity. Look at the nominations for Sunday night.
Oprah will likely have Obama on her show again soon. Sweet home Chicago for them, even though Chicago is her old stomping grounds.
And obviously, I cannot type worth diddly. I need a typist.
a woman of taste and class.
I’m feeling barack, too.
Snore as if Oprah was going to endorse anyone else?
Actually, Ian, I can’t recall Oprah ever making a political endorsement before. Sure, she has politician on the show, but, like most talk show hosts, never says who she’s voting for. Correct me if you have actual facts on your side. Otherwise, I’ll assume you’re a dittohead.
I’m figuring we’ll see an Oprah sponsored “Cage Match” between Obama and Hillary before the end of the year.
We are two years out, and already the democrats are pissing on each others camp-fires. I for one am going to enjoy watching them spend all their political capital (and capital capital for that matter) shrieking at each other.
Don’t get me wrong, the R’s may begin to do it too, but so far the high entertainment value is with the D’s…..

“Don’t get me wrong, the R’s may begin to do it too …”
MAY begin …? What a laughable hypocrite you are.
Oh I dunno, Pedro, watching Romney and McCain prevaricate daily as to what they actually believe is pretty entertaining as well.
I’m a big Obama fan, also, but Oprah also endorsed “The Secret” recently.
Grain of salt, grain of salt.
Righties, don’t worry! Howie Kurtz and a slew of other media elites will soon tell us that Obama is still not black enough because Oprah isn’t really black either.
Oprah endorses Obama. Another positive step for Hillary.
Libertarian radio host Neal Boortz had an interesting take on this. He thinks Hillary will win (he doesn’t like her at all). She’s more experienced, has a better and more professional organization etc. But that to not risk alientating the black vote in the general election, will make Obama veep.
Ah, Neal Boortz -commentary for the oxygen deprived. Thats explains a bit, Dugger.
Another oxygen thief heard from.
I have no problem with Obama. Hillary is about number 5 on my list of preferred Democratic candidates, above Biden but below Obama, Gore, Clark & Edwards. If she turns out to be the nominee I would vote for her, but I don’t think it will come to that.
