I’ll second that.
From the linked article:
“Clinton wasn’t such a bad president,” Mr. Ruddy said. “In fact, he was a pretty good president in a lot of ways
The end times are upon us.
AA Phoenix has a couple of great promos about Barry Goldwater. One of them goes: … “How bad is it? Barry Goldwater is a Democrat.”
Christopher Ruddy, who once worked full-time for Mr. Scaife investigating the Clintons and now runs a conservative online publication he co-owns with Mr. Scaife, said, “Both of us have had a rethinking.”
“Clinton wasn’t such a bad president,” Mr. Ruddy said. “In fact, he was a pretty good president in a lot of ways, and Dick feels that way today.”
Cue Cthulhu and let Brad DeLong know how shrill Scaife has become!
Yet you are oblivious to the left’s in general and your own in particular frothing, incoherent rage directed at all things even remotely Bush.
Sadly it is your own envy for a blow job (by a human this time) that keeps you unable to see the difference between a consensual affair between two adults that we find distasteful and the multiples crimes and incompetency that have shattered a nation and a world.
I’m just amazed that Richard Mellon Scaife is actually mentioned for once in an NYT article. For all the interminable shouting about how George Soros single-handedly funds everything from the Democratic Party to your blog, Oliver, it is rarely mentioned how many sugar daddies there are on the right. For every Soros there are a dozen Scaifes and clones funding every right wing “think tank” out there.

Actually neither Bush nor Clinton have been convicted of any crimes. And Clinton’s problems had to with his giving false testimoney, under oath, in a legal deposition concerning a sexual harassment case. Surely you don’t think OJ is OK because becausue it was only about Bruno Maglia shoes or ice cream melting.
Its one thing to say Clinton has not committed a crime, another to say what he did was OK. It wasn’t.
Killing thousands of Americans and Iraqis in an invasion that had nothing to do with 9/11 and that you’re going to handover to the next Decider because you don’t know how or when to end it IS ok?
particular frothing, incoherent rage directed at all things even remotely Bush.
blah, blah, blahdiddy, blah..
Before you go handing out the incoherent tag, take a deep breath and let it out slow, then re-read what you’ve posted so far.
I guess I’m sad and pathetic since I cannot stand Hillary
You know what’s real funny? Oliver complaining about conservatives attacking Hillary on the same page where he has and has done so numerous times.
But it’s okay, he’s a Dem .. move along.
Dugger is just irrational with Clinton-hate. Just as he’s irrational with Bush love.
Funny, Clinton had an affair with one girl but didn’t fuck her. Bush didn’t have an affair but has fucked us all.
A critique is not an attack, I don’t accuse her without evidence of being either – a lesbian, a drug addict, a murderer, etc, as the right does day in and day out without restraint.
Oh, I see. When a conservative does it, it’s an “attack,” but when a lib does it .. it’s a “critique.” I gotta keep up on these new euphemisms.
It’s not the tone, Ian, you jackass, it’s the content.
