That was really interesting — thank you for linking to it.
I have two elementary school kids and the school taught them all about the President, so they came home talking about George W. Bush and his life in the Air Force and as Governor and as President. He is the best President. (I don’t think the school taught them he was the best President — I think that’s just something young kids would naturally do.) But my kids proclaiming this yahoo as the Best President? Make me hurl!
Since they are so young I didn’t want to tell them what I really think of the Great Maker-Upper, so instead we talked about George Washington and why I think he was the best President — mainly because he gave up the chance to become King. And that they understood. Mission Accomplished!
Good job, Jerry! and now, it’s time to get on the phone to the school..
