Did The FBI Stage A Nazi Rally?

It sure sounds like it.

A paid FBI informant was the man behind a neo-Nazi march through the
streets of Parramore that stirred up anxiety in Orlando’s black
community and fears of racial unrest that triggered a major police
mobilization.

That revelation came Wednesday in an unrelated federal court
hearing and has prompted outrage from black leaders, some of whom
demanded an investigation into whether the February 2006 march was,
itself, an event staged by law-enforcement agencies.

The
FBI would not comment on what it knew about the involvement of its
informant,39-year-old David Gletty of Orlando, in the neo-Nazi event.
In court Wednesday, an FBI agent said the bureau has paid its informant
at least $20,000 during the past two years.

WOAH man it’s like I just had a flashback to the 60’s

Woah man. This is stupid. You said The FBI. The article says an FBI informant. The FBI pays to get information from some yahoo and therefore anything that yahoo does is attributable to the FBI???

    Let’s say this slowly.

If the FBI paid the informant, and the informant organized a rally, it would appear that the FBI is attributable (sp?).

As Oliver said, It looks like it.

Dugger - Yes. In exactly the same way that everything Oliver and the entire staff at Media Matters writes is “attributable” to George Soros.

    Do rally’s put themselves on?

This is like a cop paying a meth-head 200 dollars a day in cash and being surprised to find out they were supporting his habit.

or maybe like a nation selling weapons of mass destruction ingredients to another nation at a steep discount, then leading the charge to scold that nation for having WMD.

    “accomplice” does not mean “innocent”

Calling the FBI an accomplice to the rally’s is fair, unless the FBI told the law enforcement community ahead of time that the rally was being run by ‘a friendly’, no matter to what end.

Come on. Where does it say the FBI knew about the rally.

This is stupid. Wayne Gacy undoubtedly received funds from the Democratic Party at some point. Does that mean Democrats are complicit in his murders.

Mega silliness - attacking the FBI.

Asking a question attacks the FBI? Ooookay.

Asking a question attacks the FBI? Ooookay.

Not even cute. Yes. Asking a question can be a very nasty, gratuitous smear and therfore, an attack.

  10. Gravatar Icon 10 Oliver

Perhaps if you’re an idiot that’s true.

  11. Gravatar Icon 11 Duros62

is that like a “When did you stop beating your wife?” kind of question?

“Asking a question can be a very nasty, gratuitous smear and therfore, an attack.”

Dugger, you didn’t tell us you were in the White House press corps!

Did anyone ever give any ‘visible’ members of EarthFirst! 20 grand? any ‘visible’ members of the Black Panthers 20 grand?

A ‘visible’ member who organizes rallies is often called a leader, and paying the leadership is called “material support”.

any way you slice it, it is dirty pool, and someone should be fired, if not indicted.

    and duffer, er, dugger. weak.

Well if your world view lets you publicly ask a question to the effect “Did the FBI stage a Nazi rally?”, have at it. The more time you publicly ask that ridiculous, *sshole piece of infantile paranoid garbage, the better for my side.

  15. Gravatar Icon 15 Duros62

It’s aaaall about sides with you, isn’t it?

  16. Gravatar Icon 16 Oliver

Yes, because it’s not like the FBI had a paid informant who organized a Nazi rally… oh wait, you’re full of shit.

  17. Gravatar Icon 17 pedromd07

the last time I asked a question here, old Ollie-boy banned me…

Oh well, the old leftist double-standard strikes again.

  18. Gravatar Icon 18 S

    What was the question again?

Pedro, if I am recalling the incident correctly, you were banned for asking a fellow poster if he molested his children. Slightly beyond the pale.

I’d like to know whether the FBI was aware that this informant was staging a neo-Nazi rally. If so did it inform local law inforcement? If not, what kind of oversight do they have over their informants? These all seem to be questions that we, as citizens, have both a right and a responsiblity to ask.

of course, what else would you expect from a member of one of those subversive organiziations hoping to overthrow the gov’mnt (AFSC)
