According to the administration and it’s acolytes, these are the people who we are waiting to “stand up” so we can “stand down”.

Many of the Iraqi forces whom the U.S. is counting on to defeat Sunni Muslim insurgents, disarm Shiite Muslim gunmen and assume responsibility for keeping the peace have been infiltrated by sectarian militias and are plagued by incompetence and corruption.

It’s gonna be a long wait.

    You libs don’t seem to understand, that’s why we have to stay: They are plagued by incompetence and corruption. As Michael Leeden’s daughter would surely tell you, that’s a recipe for disaster.
