Please explain the major difference between what Rove said and the phrase “jobs Americans won’t do”,

OK, I will.

When somebody says: “They’re doing jobs Americans won’t do,” they’re saying immigrant workers are NOT taking jobs away from American citizens.

When Mr. Rove says: “I don’t want my son to pick tomatoes,” he’s saying that some work just isn’t fit for white people.

Close in literal meaning. Very different in context.

Please explain the major difference between what Rove said and the phrase "jobs Americans won't do", something used by endless GOP and Democratic leaders. And, please try to come to grips with the fact that there are only minor differences between what Bush wants on immigration and what the Democrats are more than willing to give him. Perhaps if you can do that you'll realize this is a bipartisan problem. Bonus: the Democrats are collaborating with Mexican officials on immigration.
