I am a very loyal republican (although moderate) and I am so frustrated. Giuliani is in the position he is, because he is an incredible leader and one of the smartest people in America. All of you NON-New Yorkers who bash him, dont even know him. He is a real human being, with life experiences just like everybody else. oh, excuse me, except for you religious right-wing holier-than-though robots.

Oliver stop it. If you're wrong, you're wrong. You're saying, "Well, yeah. I was wrong. But Hugh was <i>more wrong."</i>

Remember 'A Few Good Men' where Cruise was questioning Jack:

Jessup: I felt his life might be in danger once word of the letter got out.

Kaffee: Grave danger?

Jessup: Is there another kind?

There's not another kind of wrong OW.

Not when the evidence indicating otherwise was so mountainous. What Hewitt & Co. did in '06 was the equivalent of stating loudly the Bears would pull it out at 00:30 in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game.

<i>The same Real Clear Politics who threw in with Hugh Hewitt and said the GOP would hold power last year?</i>

And how many liberal pundits predicted Kerry would win in 2004? And that the Democrats would take back Congress in 2002?

You've made incorrect predictions too pal.

O'Donnell's logic about a Mayor not being an appropriate background for the presidency is not valid considering that neither is being a sitting senator such great experience when it comes to running for the White House. Only 2 sitting senators have ever been elected president, Harding and Kennedy. In addition, being mayor of NYC is probably a bigger job then being governor of most states and the majority of our recent presidents have been governors. In any event, no mayor of NYC has ever run for president, until now.

I truly hope that Giuliani is underestimated.

Lawrence O'Donnell and The Family Research Council. Two entities that have been wrong more I can count.

Neither is exactly a seer on anything.

No way Giuliani makes it through a GOP primary. And I believe the same holds true for McCain. I think Romney has the best chance in the primary, but he lacks the star power that RG and JM have that will be needed to beat Hillary. Unless he finds a VP candidate named Jeb...
