It's like the surfeit of novels with novelists as the main character. I would like to see television take another shot at a show about working people. Past examples: Roseanne, All in the Family, Cheers. Shows where the themes arise from problems faced by your ordinary, average American. Maybe it’s because I live in Los Angeles, but I have had more than my fill of shows about the entertainment industry. It’s like the surfeit of novels with novelists as the main character.
